Abstract
The article discusses the decline of leopard sharks in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, and the efforts of the ReShark project to repopulate the area with leopard sharks using eggs donated by aquariums. The StAR project aims to release 500 individuals over 10 years to establish a healthy population. Local communities, government, NGOs, and private sectors have collaborated to protect Raja Ampat and support the conservation efforts. The project has expanded to Thailand and is catalyzing marine conservation efforts in the region. [Extracted from the article]
