Abstract
The article discusses research indicating that some exoplanets may generate water internally through chemical reactions between hydrogen and minerals under extreme conditions. Laboratory experiments simulated these conditions by using high-energy lasers on olivine, a common mineral, in the presence of hydrogen gas, resulting in significant water production. This finding provides a potential explanation for the water-rich nature of certain exoplanets that orbit close to their stars and may also shed light on the origins of water on Earth.
