Abstract
Because it can make "snail house" realize the dream of large screen, ultra‐short throw projection display has developed rapidly in the application of indoor display. However, due to its unique characteristics of short‐distance projection, using illuminance meter to test and evaluate the uniformity of projection will cause large errors. In this paper, it is recommended to use imaging luminance meter instead of illuminance meter to evaluate the optical characteristics of ultra‐short throw projection display by referring to the test methods of traditional indoor displays, and the applicability of this method is proved by measured data.
