Abstract
The Madhya Pradesh State Environment Impact Assessment Authority has granted environmental clearance for the Raghavpur Multipurpose Project in Dindori district, allowing for the construction of a dam and a 25 MW hydroelectric powerhouse on the Narmada River. Afcons Infrastructure has been awarded the project by the Narmada Valley Development Authority, with plans to develop a piped irrigation system covering an irrigable command area of 17,587 hectares to boost agricultural productivity in the region.
