Abstract

The article presents the discussion on exploring Watamu's diverse marine ecosystem in Kenya from vibrant corals to enigmatic sea creatures. Topics include achieving the long-term conservation of nature with associated ecosystem services and cultural values; and oases or rainforests of the sea for migratory, demersal, or meroplanktonic species and the biggest providers of all services needed in life.
