Abstract
The article provides information on the method, called Clio, developed by engineers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that enables robots to interpret surroundings and make similarly intuitive, task-relevant decisions. An overview of the testing of Clio in real-time on a quadruped robot is presented. Technology employed by the research team in developing Clio include computer vision, large language models comprising neural networks, and mapping tools.
