Abstract
The article presents the discussion on Muscogee (Creek) Nation's history of displacement from their ancestral lands due to the Indian Removal Act and the significance of maintaining connections to sacred sites despite living away from their original homelands. Topics include the impact of forced removal on Muscogee people, the importance of visiting and learning about sacred sites like Moundville and Ocmulgee Mounds; and the role of these experiences in preserving cultural identity.
