Abstract
The New York Police Department found a gray backpack believed to belong to the suspect in the killing of health insurance executive Brian Thompson. The suspect left New York City after the shooting, cycling through Central Park and ditching the backpack before heading to the George Washington Bridge Bus Station. The FBI has joined the investigation, offering a reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest, and police are analyzing evidence such as DNA from items left at the scene.
