Abstract
Jurors at the corruption trial of US Senator Bob Menendez have asked the judge whether they must be unanimous to reach an acquittal on any count. The judge instructed the panel that they must be unanimous as to each of the 18 counts in the case. Menendez is being tried along with two businessmen and is accused of crimes including bribery, extortion, and acting as an agent of Egypt. Menendez has denied wrongdoing, and his lawyers have claimed that his actions were lawful and beneficial to his constituents. [Extracted from the article]
