Abstract
The DRA-DMRC Joint Venture, consisting of Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, has been selected as the lowest bidder for the construction of the Thane Depot as part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project. The project includes the design, civil and building works, inspection sheds, and the installation, testing, and commissioning of the Depot in Maharashtra. The Depot will be located on a 58-hectare land parcel near Bharodi and Anjur villages and will serve as a maintenance facility for Shinkansen train-sets.
