Abstract
Turning then to the factual scenario of the Moschino case, instructors should prompt students to consider whether Moschino's Fall 2014 clothing line is considered speech in this context. To wrap up a discussion of trademark law, instructors may want to inform students that ultimately McDonald's did not pursue a trademark infringement or dilution case against Moschino. A brief examination of the fashion world reveals a multitude of learning opportunities for the business law curriculum. An argument could be made that the following are stakeholders: Moschino's shareholders, Moschino's employees, McDonald's workers (see above discussion), public investors of Moschino, suppliers/manufacturers of material for designs, and distributors/retailers of the product.
