Abstract
The article focuses on a study evaluating the effects of an integrated general education course, "Building a Flourishing Life: Integrating KIPP and Positive Psychology," on the psychological well-being of university students in Changchun, People's Republic of China. The research utilized a mixed-methods approach, collecting pre- and post-intervention survey data from 116 participants, and found significant increases in happiness alongside decreases in depression and anxiety. The study highlighted the synergistic effects of various course modules rather than the necessity of any single module for achieving these improvements. It contributes to the literature on culturally responsive positive education and addresses critiques regarding the contextualization of psychological interventions in higher education.
