Abstract
This article examines the user experience of different groups—clothing design specialists, cultural heritage experts, and general users—interacting with the virtual museum (VM) titled "Traditional Dress of Liangshan Yi Nationality," which showcases the cultural heritage of the Yi people in Sichuan Province, China. Using a mixed-methods approach with surveys and interviews, the study found significant differences in how these groups perceive aspects such as content accuracy, media richness, playfulness, and satisfaction. Cultural experts prioritized authenticity and detailed cultural information, designers valued creative and interactive visual elements, and general users favored accessible and engaging content. The findings highlight the need to tailor VM content and features to diverse user expectations, suggesting enhancements like adding historical evolution, contemporary cultural practices, and modern fashion interpretations to improve engagement and educational value.
