Abstract
The article focuses on exploring the relationship between spiritual wellbeing (SW) and existential wellbeing (EW) and the possibility of integrating them into a combined concept called spiritual-existential wellbeing (SEW). It highlights that both SW and EW involve grappling with fundamental life questions and overcoming suffering, and are interconnected through spiritual and existential intelligences as described in Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. SEW is defined as a holistic quality of life characterized by inner peace, joy, and harmony, achieved by addressing both spiritual needs (faith, hope, love) and existential challenges. The article emphasizes the importance of further research on SEW within wellbeing scholarship, noting its potential benefits for mental health and resilience.
