Abstract
A study conducted by researchers at Northwest Minzu University in Lanzhou, China explores the identity negotiation of Han women in Han-Hui-Muslim intermarriage. The study examines the challenges faced by Han women who marry Hui Muslim men, as Islam requires religious endogamy. Using Hermans' Dialogical Self Theory, the study identifies four strategies that these women use to negotiate conflicts between their identifications during interactions with Han and Hui families. The research suggests that understanding these individual struggles can help resist societal prejudice and insecuritization for those in mixed marriages. [Extracted from the article]
