Abstract
In the article, the author discusses the aesthetic values in everyday life of people. Also cited are how aesthetic experience can disengage people from the activities of daily life, the aesthetic values like sublimity and beauty, the negative aesthetic qualities like ugly, bland, and depressing, the account of aesthetic experience by John Dewey integrating undergoing and doing, the notion of aesthetic engagement by Arnold Berleant involving creative and imaginative activity, and how people can derive aesthetic satisfaction.
