Abstract

The article reports on American climate journalist Alec Luhn, who was found alive after going missing for several days during a solo hike on the Folgefonna glacier in Norway's Folgefonna National Park. Luhn, 38, was located by a Norwegian Red Cross helicopter crew and transported for medical treatment after sustaining a leg injury. The search involved volunteers, experienced climbers, and drones, and was initially hampered by difficult weather and terrain. Luhn is an award-winning journalist known for his work with international outlets and his coverage of Russia.
