Abstract

Corticaria seppoi n. sp. (Coleoptera, Latridiidae) is described from Finland, Sweden and Northwestern Russia. It is closely related to Corticaria crenicollis Mannerheim, but differs from that species in secondary sexual characters, female terminal abdominal segment structures, details of the aedeagus and the barcode sequence. Further morphological differences exist but because of wide variation they are sometimes difficult to judge. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
