Abstract
The article analyzes Samuel P. Huntington's political theories, particularly his "clash of civilizations" concept as a response to Francis Fukuyama's "end of history" thesis. Topics include the critique of Western liberal universalism, the role of cultural identity and ethnonationalism in modern conflicts; and the relationship between globalization, modernity, and the resurgence of traditionalist backlashes.
