Abstract
The main focus of the article is the exploration of women's collective identity and artistic collaboration during the women's liberation movement, as discussed in Amy Tobin's book, *Women Artists Together: Art in the Age of Women’s Liberation*. The text highlights how women artists in the long 1970s formed groups to challenge patriarchal definitions of womanhood and foster political solidarity through their art. Tobin's work examines key feminist concepts and the dynamics of community among artists, while also addressing the limitations and exclusions within the movement, particularly regarding race, class, and sexuality. The article emphasizes the importance of understanding these complexities in the study of feminist art and the transformative potential of collaboration among women artists.
