The article focuses on Ignacio "Nacho" Jimenez, a Mexican American bartender and entrepreneur who opened Superbueno in 2023 as a Mexican American cocktail bar celebrating his cultural identity. Despite early challenges in the U.S. restaurant industry due to stereotypes about Mexican cuisine and accents, Jimenez developed his career in New York City, eventually winning a James Beard Award for Outstanding Professional in Cocktail Service.
