Abstract

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu extended warm Hanukkah greetings to Israeli counterparts and Jewish communities worldwide. The festival of Hanukkah commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem and the re-establishment of religious freedom for the Jewish people. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar also conveyed his wishes for hope, health, and happiness to those celebrating Hanukkah, symbolizing the Jewish people's fight for liberty and freedom.
