Abstract
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not addressing the inhumane treatment of Indian migrants deported from the US during his visit to meet President Trump. Kharge suggested that Modi should have used his friendship with Trump to prevent the migrants from being sent back in a degrading manner. He also highlighted concerns over the treatment of Indian migrants being brought back to India in a cargo plane and emphasized the importance of maintaining friendly relations between countries. Kharge's comments come amidst growing tensions over the deportation of illegal Indian immigrants by the US. [Extracted from the article]
