Abstract
The article focuses on a study examining attraction within transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) communities, specifically the concept of "trans-for-trans" (T4T) attraction, which refers to TGD individuals romantically or sexually attracted to other TGD people. The study surveyed 254 TGD participants familiar with the T4T label and identified four key themes regarding how they conceptualize this attraction: T4T as a distinct label, its added nuance to existing labels, its experience as felt attraction, and motivational factors influencing it. Findings emphasize the role of shared understanding and safety in shaping TGD attraction and discuss implications for measuring romantic and sexual attraction and researching relationship outcomes among T4T couples. The study is based on a preprint that has not yet undergone peer review. [Extracted from the article]
