Authoritarian Managers Cause Employees to Act Unethically.

This article reports on the research “More Than Meets the Eye: The Unintended Consequence of Leader Dominance Orientation on Subordinate Ethicality,” by Garrett L. Brady and Niro Sivanathan published in Organization Science in 2023. The article explores the association found in the research between dominant and controlling leaders and immoral employee behavior when working for these types of leaders.
