Abstract
According to a report by Human Rights Watch (HRW), Rwanda's government has been engaging in a campaign of "extraterritorial repression" by murdering, attacking, and disappearing critics outside of its borders. The report documents cases of killings, kidnappings, enforced disappearances, and physical attacks against Rwandans in the diaspora, as well as efforts to extradite critics back to Rwanda. The report also highlights the complicity of some countries in allowing these abuses to occur. The Rwandan government denies these allegations and argues that it has made significant progress in advancing the rights and wellbeing of its citizens. [Extracted from the article]
