Abstract

In this way, we see the astute and multilayered ways that Kim's discussions of embodiment vis-à-vis her framework of bioneglect provide readers with a window into understanding the full effects of these women's organizing. Kim does so by drawing on extensive ethnographic research and in-depth interviews with Asian American and Latin@ activists from several community-based organizations and supplemental content analysis of policy and organizational documents.
