Abstract
The article focuses on evaluating the effects of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)–based psychoeducation on body image, quality of sexual life, and dyadic adjustment in women after breast cancer surgery. Conducted with 31 women in Türkiye using a single-group quasi-experimental design, the study found that post-intervention scores on body image perception, sexual quality of life, and dyadic adjustment scales significantly improved compared to pretest scores. The six-session online ACT program emphasized psychological flexibility, acceptance, and value-based actions to address psychosocial challenges following surgery. The findings suggest that integrating ACT-based psychoeducation into nursing care may enhance psychosocial outcomes for women recovering from breast cancer surgery.
