Abstract
This article focuses on Emon Maasho’s leadership and revitalization of Orrefors & Kosta Boda, Swedish crystal glass brands, particularly in the North American market. Maasho, who rose from dishwasher to CEO, took charge of the struggling brands’ U.S. operations in 2019, repositioning them as premium products and forging partnerships with upscale retailers and restaurants. Under his direction, the company grew by 50 percent during the pandemic, increased profitability, and emphasized sustainability through recycled glass and eco-friendly packaging. Despite strong brand recognition in Sweden, Maasho continues to focus on expanding awareness and market presence across the United States.
