Abstract

The current study examines a few modified ratio estimators based on ratio cum medians for predicting the limited population mean using linear combinations of known auxiliary variable parameters like quartiles and skewness. Both algebraically and numerically, the suggested estimators' efficiency are evaluated against the sample mean and ratio estimator of simple random sampling without replacement (SRSWOR). The suggested estimators outperform both the Ratio estimator and the SRSWOR sample mean, according to the numerical comparison. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
