Abstract

The article focuses on the marginalization and erasure of lesbian identity within the broader LGBTQ+ movement, particularly as queer and transgender ideologies gain prominence. It critiques how the shifting cultural and political landscape, along with changes in legal frameworks, has sidelined lesbians, often rendering them invisible in LGBTQ+ spaces and causing their specific concerns to be dismissed or overlooked.
