Abstract
This article discusses the concept of mental fatigue and provides strategies to manage and prevent it. The author explains that mental fatigue occurs when the brain senses it will run out of resources if it continues working at the same intensity. Factors that contribute to mental fatigue include solving complex problems, resisting distractions, and sustained attention. The article suggests three strategies to delay or minimize mental fatigue: taking frequent breaks, limiting intense work to four hours a day, and using motivation and rewards to sustain mental effort. The author emphasizes the importance of recognizing mental fatigue as an occupational hazard and incorporating measures to prevent it. [Extracted from the article]
