Abstract

A report from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Iran discusses the importance of addressing fatigue in surgical technologists, as it can impact both their own health and patient safety. The study aimed to determine the predictive role of resilience and the ethical climate of hospitals in the fatigue experienced by surgical technologists working in operating rooms. The research found that resilience and ethical climate were related to fatigue, with higher resilience associated with lower fatigue levels. However, further research is needed to identify other factors that contribute to fatigue in surgical technologists. [Extracted from the article]
