Abstract

The article discusses the international enforcement priorities set by U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi for the Trump Administration. The priorities focus on immigration enforcement, human trafficking, and disrupting criminal gangs and drug cartels, while de-emphasizing the enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). The memorandum also establishes Joint Task Forces to target criminal organizations and addresses the October 7, 2023, terrorist attack in Israel. Additionally, there is a prohibition on improper third-party settlements in DOJ-secured settlements. [Extracted from the article]
