Abstract

The article examines the rise of far-right leaders globally, including figures like Javier Milei in Argentina and Viktor Orbán in Hungary, who are shaping a radical conservative agenda that transcends national boundaries. It highlights how these leaders utilize the concept of "cultural hegemony," originally articulated by Antonio Gramsci, to critique the liberal elite and promote their vision of an illiberal global order. The authors argue that the radical right is not merely reacting to socio-economic conditions but actively seeks to establish a new cultural and ideological framework through education and the creation of a global alliance. The article concludes that the liberal international order is facing a crisis due to the organized efforts of this socio-political class, which aims to redefine global norms and values.
