Abstract

The article focuses on research addressing the challenges in snowboard coaching quality in China, particularly following the increased interest in winter sports after the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. It highlights the development of a three-dimensional pedagogical model that includes Teaching Interaction and Feedback (TIF), Motion Guidance and Optimization (MGO), and Effectiveness Assessment and Customization (EAC), which are essential for enhancing snowboard coaches' competencies and improving participant loyalty. The study utilized a mixed methods design, surveying 250 recreational snowboarders and conducting coaching observations, revealing that these coaching competencies significantly influence learners' intentions to continue lessons. The findings emphasize the importance of adaptive coaching strategies to foster retention and sustainable participation in winter sports. [Extracted from the article]
