Abstract
The article focuses on the educational experience of VCE Geography students at Wildlife Wonders, an ecotourism sanctuary located on Victoria's Otway Coast. Established by the Conservation Ecology Centre, Wildlife Wonders aims to engage visitors with nature while supporting conservation efforts through ticket sales. During their field trip, students participated in activities that connected theoretical learning with real-world experiences, including mapping the sanctuary's layout, conducting visitor surveys, and exploring the ecological significance of the site. The fieldwork aimed to assess how effectively Wildlife Wonders balances conservation goals with visitor engagement and regional tourism opportunities. [Extracted from the article]
