Abstract

George Foreman, the former heavyweight boxing champion who passed away at age 76, had a remarkable career transformation from a brooding sports figure to a beloved everyman. He won a gold medal at the 1968 Olympics and became heavyweight champion in 1973 by defeating Joe Frazier. After retiring from boxing in 1977 to become a preacher, Foreman made a comeback in 1994 at age 45, reclaiming the heavyweight title and later finding success as an entrepreneur with the George Foreman grill. His legacy as the oldest heavyweight champion and successful businessman continues to endure. [Extracted from the article]
