Abstract

The NFL has implemented new kickoff rules for the upcoming season in an effort to eliminate injuries and make kickoffs more exciting. The new rules require players to line up in closer quarters and have resulted in a higher percentage of kickoffs being returned during the preseason. However, some experts predict that teams will continue to kick the ball beyond the end zone once the regular season begins. The current format will be in play for a year, and the league is open to making adjustments if necessary. [Extracted from the article]
