It traces the development of Chinese sportsmanship through key historical periods—including the New Democratic Revolution, socialist revolution and construction, reform and opening-up, and the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics—highlighting its role in strengthening national self-confidence, promoting sports development, and fostering a community of shared human destiny. The scientific connotation of Chinese sportsmanship encompasses principles such as striving for national glory, selfless dedication, scientific pragmatism, compliance with law, unity and cooperation, and tenacity and struggle.
