Abstract
The hazing scandal that has enveloped the Northwestern University football team serves as an important reminder that allegations of misconduct — which in this case consisted of bullying, harassment, discrimination, and hazing by student‐athletes with the alleged knowledge of some of the coaches — has the potential to occur within any athletics department and can happen at the most unexpected times and places.
