Abstract
Chris Barrett, a top executive at Bungie Inc., was fired after being accused of inappropriate behavior by several female employees. Barrett had been with the company since 1999 and had worked on popular franchises such as Halo and Destiny. An internal investigation found that Barrett had made inappropriate comments and advances towards female employees, including calling them attractive and making references to his wealth and power within the studio. The video game industry has faced scrutiny over its treatment of women, and Bungie's actions in response to the complaints against Barrett may indicate a shift in the industry's approach to misconduct.
