Abstract

The article provides an overview of the history and evolution of the Pokémon franchise, which began as a gaming magazine called Game Freak in Japan before transitioning into a game development company. The first Pokémon game, Pocket Monsters, was released in 1996, allowing players to capture and battle creatures known as Pokémon. Over the past three decades, Game Freak has released numerous Pokémon role-playing games (RPGs) across various Nintendo consoles, adapting to technological advancements and expanding the Pokémon universe with each generation.
