Abstract

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is reportedly in advanced talks to sell stakes in the NFL team and other assets to private equity firm Ares Management and billionaire Joe Tsai. The deal, valued at $8.1 billion, would see Ares purchase a 10% stake in the properties, including Hard Rock Stadium and F1's Miami Grand Prix, while Tsai's family office, Blue Pool Capital, would buy 3%. This potential deal could be the NFL's first private equity transaction since the league changed its ownership rules earlier this year. Ross is aiming for approval at the league's December owners meeting. [Extracted from the article]
