Abstract
The article focuses on the growth of AllTrails, a digital platform that supports outdoor enthusiasts by providing over 500,000 verified trail maps for hiking, biking, and running to its 95 million users. In response to a record 63 million people hiking in the U.S. in 2024, AllTrails expanded its paid subscription services in 2025 to include enhanced offline maps, customizable routes, environmental condition data, and an AI feature for identifying plants and insects. The company has formed partnerships with T-Mobile, Apple, and OpenAI to improve connectivity, integrate Apple Intelligence, and enable access to trail maps via ChatGPT. AllTrails continues to update maps across more than 200 countries with real-time trail condition information from over 800 partner organizations. [Extracted from the article]
