Abstract

Tepper Sports & Entertainment, owned by hedge-fund titan David Tepper, has proposed a $1.3 billion upgrade to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The plan includes $650 million from the city and $688 million from Tepper's group. The renovations would improve the home of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Football Club, with upgrades such as a new sound system, scoreboard, and jumbotron, improved concession stands, new seats, and an expanded team store. The proposal is still under discussion by the city council. [Extracted from the article]
