Abstract

The NBA's love for wine has grown significantly in recent years, with players like Carmelo Anthony, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant becoming wine enthusiasts. The league's "secret wine society" has even attracted attention from ESPN. The NBA recently signed its first-ever wine sponsorship deal with Kendall-Jackson Winery. Anthony, who developed a reputation as a wine connoisseur during his time with the Denver Nuggets, has now launched his own wine label called VII(N) The Seventh Estate, with a higher-end product called Ode to Soul. Anthony has also been active in business ventures outside of basketball, including investments in companies like DraftKings and SeatGeek. [Extracted from the article]
