Abstract
The article focuses on Miriam Cabas, a 24-year-old matador who achieved a significant milestone in her career by successfully fighting two bulls in Cádiz, Spain. Leading up to this event, Cabas shared a video on Instagram reflecting on her journey and the influence of her childhood dreams. As one of the few women in the traditional field of bullfighting, she has faced both support and criticism, particularly in the context of Spain's political landscape, where bullfighting is a contentious issue. Despite the challenges, Cabas remains dedicated to her craft and is also pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine, expressing a deep affection for the bulls she works with.
