Disney Launches World's First 'Zootopia' Themed Land in China.

Abstract

Disney is set to open the world's first Zootopia-themed land at Shanghai Disneyland Resort on December 20. The new attraction will feature iconic landmarks from the popular animated film and themed restaurants. This expansion is part of Disney's efforts to increase its presence in the global theme park industry and cater to the growing demand for domestic travel in China. The success of Shanghai Disneyland Resort, which opened in 2016, has been attributed to the enduring strength of domestic travel in China.
