Abstract

The article offers information about LOPR (Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation) has found ways to make water sports accessible for older adults, who may find it intimidating to access water sports due to lack of equipment or experience. Participants are provided with transportation, equipment, and easy, no-pressure lessons, making it easier for them to join their peers and reduce anxiety, encouraging participation.
